Sophie Dee is a Welsh-born, British-American adult film actress, model, director and producer. She was born on January 17, 1984, which makes her 42 years old today. She has been in the public eye since the early 2000s, first as a glamour model in the UK and later as a performer in the United States.
People search for her biography for many reasons. Some want to know her age and height. Others want to know about her family, her education, her ex-husband, whether she has a boyfriend, or how much money she has made.
This guide answers all of those questions in plain English. It also points out where websites disagree with each other, because many popular bios copy each other’s mistakes. We keep the facts tidy, say clearly when something is only an estimate, and leave out rumors about private matters.

Who Is Sophie Dee?
Sophie Dee is the professional name of a performer from Wales who built a career in the adult entertainment industry after moving to California in 2005. Before that, she worked as a topless model for the British newspaper Daily Sport, where she appeared as a “Page 3” girl.
Over the years she has worked as an actress, director and producer. She has also been nominated for industry awards and has made small appearances in mainstream projects. In recent years she has focused on social media and subscription platforms, where she talks directly to her fans.
In simple terms, her story is one of a young woman from a small Welsh town who moved across the world, worked her way up in a competitive business, and then learned to run her own brand online.
A quick note on names: Sophie Dee is a stage name. Some websites print a different real name for her, but those claims are not backed by solid sources, and we do not repeat them here. Respecting a person’s privacy matters, even when they are well known.
Sophie Dee’s Early Life and Birthplace
Sophie Dee was born on January 17, 1984, in Llanelli, a coastal town in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. A few websites say Swansea instead. Llanelli is the more common answer and appears on most biography pages, so that is the one we use.
According to several biographies, she spent part of her childhood in Wales and part in England. She lived with her father, a stepmother and a brother. That kind of mixed, moving childhood is often mentioned as one reason she grew up independent and confident.
Like many young people in small towns, she took ordinary jobs after leaving school. Reports say she worked in cafes and sold products door to door. She also trained as a makeup artist. None of these jobs were glamorous, but they taught her how to talk to strangers and handle rejection, skills that helped later.
Sophie Dee’s Education
Many readers search for Sophie Dee’s education, and the honest answer is short.
- She attended schools in both England and Wales.
- She returned to South Wales to finish her secondary education.
- She did not go to university or college, according to the biographies that mention it.
- After school she went straight into work.
There is no public record of a degree, a named college or a named secondary school, and we do not guess. Her training as a makeup artist is the only formal training that sources mention. If you see a site naming a specific school or university, treat it with caution unless it links to a proper source.
Sophie Dee’s Family: Parents, Siblings and Stepsister
Sophie Dee keeps her family life mostly private. Here is what has been reported, and what has not.
Parents. Her parents’ names have not been made public. She is reported to have grown up with her father and a stepmother. Some websites invent names or call them “Mr. and Mrs.” with her surname, but there is no reliable source for any of it.
Siblings. One biography says she has a brother. Other sites say her siblings are unknown. Because there is no official confirmation, we simply say a brother has been reported.
Stepsister. Several sources say her stepsister is Linsey Dawn McKenzie, a British glamour model who is also known in the entertainment industry. This connection is widely repeated and is one of the better-known facts about her family.
Children. This is where websites contradict each other the most. One site says she has a child. Another says no children are publicly known. Since the claims conflict and no reliable source backs either one, we will not state a position. If a child exists, that child’s privacy deserves protection.
Sophie Dee’s Career
Her career can be understood in four stages.
Early modeling in the UK
Before moving abroad, she worked as a glamour model. She appeared in the Daily Sport newspaper as a Page 3 model for about a year and a half. She also worked as a dancer. Page 3 modeling was a well-known route in Britain for young women who wanted to build a modeling profile, and it gave her early public attention.
Moving to California
In January 2005, at the age of 21, she moved to California to start her career in adult film. She quickly became a recognizable name. Her accent, her look and her outgoing personality helped her stand out in a crowded field.
Reports say she has worked with several major studios, including Brazzers, Evil Angel and Hustler. Different websites claim she has appeared in anywhere from 450 to more than 600 titles. Since no single official count exists, it is best to say she has appeared in hundreds of productions across her career. Some sources say her on-screen work slowed or ended around 2020.
Directing and producing
Beyond acting, she moved behind the camera as a director and producer. This is a common path for performers who want more control over their work and more of the income. One site also claims she launched her own production company and a line of products, but this has not been confirmed by a strong source, so treat it as unverified.
Mainstream appearances and online work
She has also been seen outside the adult industry. Reported credits include:
- A Haunted House 2 (2014)
- The Hungover Games (2014)
- An episode of the TV comedy New Girl
- Independent horror films, including Theater of Derange
- A music video for “Unicorn Zombie Apocalypse” by Borgore and Sikdope
In more recent years she has used social media and subscription platforms such as OnlyFans to reach fans directly. This shift mirrors what many performers have done: instead of relying on a studio, they sell content and build a brand on their own.
Awards and Nominations
Sophie Dee has been nominated multiple times at the AVN Awards, one of the best-known award shows in the adult industry. She appeared at the AVN Awards in 2011, and several biographies list that year as a high point.
One biography also reports that she won at the Urban X Awards in 2011, in categories including Interracial Star of the Year. Another site says she was named “MILF of the Year” in 2011. We include both as reported wins. Award databases and the organizers’ own pages are the best place to double-check exact titles and years.
Sophie Dee Height and Looks
Height is a common search, and the answer changes depending on where you look:
- Many bio sites say 5 ft 2 in (1.60 m).
- Others say 1.63 m, which is about 5 ft 4 in.
- One site says 5 ft 4 in (163 cm).
The fair answer is that she is on the shorter side, somewhere between 5 ft 2 in and 5 ft 4 in. Because she has never published an official measurement, the difference likely comes from rounding or copying between sites. Weight is not reliably reported anywhere, so we skip it. She is also known to have several tattoos, which is mentioned on a number of profiles.
Sophie Dee Age and Birthday
Sophie Dee was born on January 17, 1984. As of October 2026 she is 42 years old. She will turn 43 on January 17, 2027. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn.
You may see other ages online, such as 38 or 40. Those pages were simply written in earlier years and never updated. One site even lists her birthday as January 15, which looks like a typing error. January 17, 1984 is the date that matches the large majority of sources.
Sophie Dee Husband and Boyfriend
This is one of the most searched parts of her life, so here is a clear summary.
Ex-husband. Sophie Dee was married to Lee Bang, another performer in the adult industry. The two later divorced. Because both of them worked in the same field, the marriage got attention from fans and the press. Neither has shared many details about why it ended, and speculating about it would not be fair.
Current boyfriend. There is no reliable public information about a current boyfriend or partner. Several sites say she keeps her relationships private. A few articles with titles like “Sophie Dee’s love life” or “Sophie Dee husband” read like filler text and do not name anyone or give real details. We would rather say “unknown” than invent a story.
Why she stays private. Many public figures choose to keep their romantic life out of the spotlight, especially after a divorce. That is a normal choice, and it is easy to respect.
Sophie Dee Net Worth
Most websites estimate Sophie Dee’s net worth at about $3 million. A few older or lower-quality pages say $2 million. Neither number comes from audited financial records, so treat them as rough estimates.
How she may have earned her money
- Film and studio work over more than a decade
- Directing and producing
- Modeling and brand partnerships
- Subscription platforms and social media
About the OnlyFans earnings claims
You may read that she earns “$200,000 a month” or even “£300,000 a month” online. Those figures show up on several sites, but they are not backed by a financial statement or a direct confirmation. Platform income also varies a lot from month to month and is split with the platform and any managers. A safe way to read it is that she has a real online income, but the exact amount is unknown.
Why net worth numbers differ
Net worth sites usually guess based on career length, public reports and what other sites say. When one site publishes a number, others copy it. That is why you often see the same $3 million figure repeated everywhere without a source.
Sophie Dee on Social Media
Sophie Dee is active on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, where she shares updates and talks to followers. She also uses subscription platforms for fan content. Her official accounts are the best places to find current news about her. Fan pages and “wiki” sites often copy information that is out of date.
A small tip for readers: always check that an account is verified or linked from her own profiles before trusting it. Fake accounts using celebrity names are common.
Why You See Different Facts on Different Sites
If you search for a Sophie Dee wiki or bio, you will notice that the details do not always match. Here is why.
- Copying. Many bio sites copy each other, so one mistake spreads quickly.
- Old pages. Pages written years ago still list her old age.
- Auto-generated text. Some pages use templates or AI text with no fact checking. Examples include numerology sections and “deep dive” articles that say very little.
- No official biography. Because she has never released a full official profile, the gaps get filled with guesses.
To keep this guide useful, we only treat a detail as solid when most sources agree, and we label everything else as reported, estimated or unknown.
